PULAPROMET d.o.o. is a limited liability company registered for passenger transportation. By signing Articles of Association, the Company’s founders – including the City of Pula, the Municipalities of Barban, Ližnjan, Marčana , Medulin and Svetvinčenat, and the City of Vodnjan – have harmonised PULAPROMET d.o.o. with the provisions of the Companies Act. Accordingly, the Company’s capital has been divided into seven stakes and distributed among the partners as follows: 71% to the City of Pula, 2% to the Municipality of Barban, 5% to the Municipality of Ližnjan, 3% to the Municipality of Marčana, 7% to the Municipality of Medulin, 2% to the Municipality of Svetvinčenat and 10% to the City of Vodnjan.

PULAPROMET d.o.o. has been registered with the Companies Court in Rijeka pursuant to the Decision No. Tt-95/3328-2 of 21 January 1996 and entered in the Companies Register under the corporate name “PULAPROMET d.o.o. za prijevoz putnika” (LLC for passenger transportation), with its registered office at 1a Starih Statuta St., Pula.
The Company has been registered for the following activities:

- passenger transportation in urban and suburban traffic;
- passenger transportation in road traffic –regular services;
- other passenger transportation services in road traffic;
- other supporting traffic services;
- advertising (publicity and promotion services);
- wholesale and commercial brokerage services.

The Company provides its services throughout the territory of the Cities of Pula and Vodnjan and the Municipalities of Medulin, Ližnjan, Fažana, Barban and Marčana.
In keeping with the principles of operating efficiency and economy and relying on a full business process cycle, the Company performs its tasks and services through two organisations units (Transport-Technical; and Financial, Commercial and Accounting Services).

The following indicators can serve for providing a general overview of the Company’s performance (figures for 2007):
- operated kilometres: 2,023,235 km
- total passenger loading: 3,633,835 passengers
- number of buses: 37
- number of employees: 123
The Company’s bodies include the Shareholders’ Meeting, the Supervisory Board and the Management.
The Company generates its profits by selling its transportation services at specific rates which are under direct community control, that is, approved by the relevant local government authorities.
